Where to start...

We traveled down to Miami, Florida early for a little vaca before our World Conference. Little did I know what Nick had up his sleeve.

We flew into Miami to stay with our friend and business partner Zina on Sunday February 5th. Then, Monday morning drove down to the Florida Keys in our rented convertible (all Nick's doing) to pick up the boat we rented in Key Largo to go out on the water. Now our plan for the day was to drive the boat to one of the sand bars and just enjoy the day. Well, that didn't happen..the weather made the water choppy so we could not anchor the boat even after we tried for literally over an hour. At this point I'm pissed, Nicks pissed, but for much different reasons. I just wanted to anchor to relax in the water but, Nick's plan was to propose their.

From there we just made the decision to give up on the sandbar. We just then drive around and Nick ends up positioning the front of the boat towards the sunset and we just float.

We had brought a bottle of champagne with us (didn't think anything of this, we celebrate regularly, so this wasn't out of the ordinary). Well, Nick pops the bottle and looks to me as we are sitting on the front of the boat and says "so, what should be toast to...?"

Actually, we had a lot to toast to. Hitting our personal goals, growing business, the beautiful spot, etc. We continue to talk, drink and enjoy the sunset. As we finish the bottle and I spot 2 dolphins about 30 feet away from our boat and as I'm looking at them play in the water I turn around to Nick and he has a ring out and says "Baby, will you marry me?" my response "Seriously!?" "YES" (the ring had been on his pinky finger the whole entire time)

I could not have imagined a better proposal. It was just him and I, at the most near and dear place to my heart. It was PERFECT!
